What Can Our Volunteers Do
- Call center for community information and problem reporting
- Information booths to provide information/problem reporting
- Coordinating volunteer organizations
- Scribes (admin assistant) to various positions in Incident Command
- Opening and operating a shelter requires registering clients and doing a medical evaluation, providing snacks and water, planning meals and sleeping arrangements.
- Distributing bulk supplies such as water, sand bags, snacks, food, medical supplies and equipment.
- Local damage assessments within our neighborhoods (windshield surveys)
- Feeding and care for our First Responders
- Message handling
- Medical volunteers could assist at shelters or at a medical center.
